I am a researcher in the field of optimization, and currently, I am the head of the Josef Ressel Center for applied scientific computing at the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg. My main research interests are the development, analysis, and application of Derivative-Free Algorithms, especially Evolutionary Algorithms.
